  • Megan’s piece titled “Part of Me” was created using black watercolor paint on 24x36 140lb watercolor paper. Women are born with all of the eggs we will carry in our lifetime. Therefore when a woman gives birth, that child has been with her since day one. This magical fact of motherhood was the inspiration behind this piece. Modern watercolor line art intertwines revealing a mother cradling her newborn, encapsulating how our children have always been, and always will be, a part of us.

    Title: Part Of Me

    Medium: Watercolor

    Dimensions: 24” x 36”

  • As a mother of a child impacted by CASK, this is a cause near and dear to my heart. Since our daughter’s diagnosis, I have been dedicated to finding ways to give back and further research and treatment for this rare disease. So when approached by Project CASK last year to contribute a piece that could help raise funds for individuals impacted by CASK, it was a no brainer.
